This wine comes from the Pays Des Cevennes region which is in the larger region of Languedoc in southern France. This Petit Verdot has a beautiful dark color with aromas of licorice and violet. It possesses bright acidity, spice, pepper, and subtle leather notes. It has an elegant, refined, and juicy finish. It pairs well with appetizers, bouillabaisse, paella red meats and game, pork curry, and strong cheeses.
