Super Bowl week is upon us and the big question is - are you Team Chiefs or Team 49er’s? An even bigger question that’s far more important than football is - are you Team California or Team Oregon - when it comes to wine!
​
I’ll answer the first question. I am Team 49er's for this game. Gotta go with the wine country team right? As for the second question, we will answer that on Thursday and Friday. I truly love the wines from both states. There are of course differences between wines from California and wines from Oregon. Generally speaking, Oregon wines tend to be lighter in style than their California counterparts. So, determining which wines you like will depend on factors such as how much acidity you like in your Chardonnay or how much fruit you prefer in your Pinot Noir. Your brain and your taste buds will decide for you. Join me and let’s have some fun with this week’s Super Bowl of Wine!
