This is a very unique wine. A white wine from Burgundy that is NOT Chardonnay. You read that right. This isn't Chardonnay but rather Sauvignon Blanc. Saint-Bris is the only AOC in Burgundy allowed to make a white wine from Sauvignon Blanc. Think Sancerre but not as concentrated and with high aromatics of grapefruit and lychee and a wonderful salinity along with bright minerality on the extended finish. A more affordable alternative than Sancerre!
