The Domaine Joseph Scharsch Riesling, Alsace 2019 is absolutely lively, fresh, dry, and crisp! The entire estate is organic and Nicolas Scharsch is producing outstanding wines from the Alsace region of France. This wine comes from clay soil and limestone soil which gives this wine the brilliant acidity and minerality that I adore. It is a dry riesling so don't be scared away if you're thinking this is sweet. Notes of very slight petrol on the nose which blows away rather quickly. Hints of crisp green apple, floral, and stone fruit.Finished dry and crisp.  Another great discovery by our good friend Xavier at Simon Wine Selection.
