This is Christmas in a bottle. The aromas jump out at you once you warm this wine up. I was not a fan of mulled wine but this one blew me away. I will be drinking this in front of the fireplace as many times as possible.
Here's the winemaker notes: The Glunz Family has been making this fun winter warm-up wine in America for over 100 years with our fourth generation recipe. Our Glögg recipe is fairly traditional. We start with a high quality California port and red wine. To this we have blended oils of citrus fruits, nuts, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon and a couple of secret ingredients. Serve gently heated. Add a cinnamon stick, cloves or a twist of lemon or orange rind.
